• OpenAI API Key: Stored locally in your browser only. Never transmitted to our servers.
• License Key: Stored locally in your browser and validated against our license server.
• Email Address: Collected during purchase via Stripe for license delivery only.

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

• License Validation Requests: When you activate a license, we receive your license key to validate it.
• Extension Usage: We do NOT track which websites you transform or what content you generate.

2.3 Information We DO NOT Collect

• Browsing history
• Webpage content you view or transform
• AI-generated content from your transformations
• Personal information beyond email (for license delivery)

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Your OpenAI API Key

• Stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• Only sent directly to OpenAI's servers when you perform transformations
• We never see, store, or have access to your API key

3.2 Your License Key

• Validated against our Cloudflare Worker license server
• Stored in our database to prevent unauthorized use
• Associated with your email address for support purposes

3.3 Your Email Address

• Used to send your license key after purchase
• May be used to provide customer support
• Never sold or shared with third parties (except payment processor)

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local Storage

Your OpenAI API key and license key are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API. This data never leaves your browser except for:

• API keys sent directly to OpenAI when you transform pages
• License keys sent to our validation server when you activate

4.2 Server Storage

We store the following on our servers:

• License keys (hashed and encrypted)
• Associated email addresses
• License activation status
• Purchase date and payment information (via Stripe)

4.3 Security Measures

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• License server hosted on Cloudflare Workers with enterprise-grade security
• No plain-text storage of sensitive information

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 OpenAI

When you use Website Modifier, your API key is sent directly to OpenAI's servers to generate content. Please review OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

5.2 Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card information. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5.3 Resend

License key emails are sent via Resend. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery purposes. Please review Resend's Privacy Policy.

5.4 Cloudflare

Our license validation server runs on Cloudflare Workers. License validation requests pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure. Please review Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

• License Keys: Retained indefinitely for validation purposes
• Email Addresses: Retained for customer support and license recovery
• Payment Records: Retained per Stripe's policies (for tax and fraud prevention)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of data we store about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your email and license data (will invalidate your license)
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Opt-out: Uninstall the extension at any time to stop all data collection
